“Peace Negotiations Have Not Stopped” - Ruben Rubinyan
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan spoke at a panel discussion during the diplomatic forum in Antalya. He stated, “The peace negotiations have not stopped. Our approach is that last year Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on the fundamental principles of peace based on mutual recognition of territorial integrity as outlined in the Alma-Ata Declaration. Secondly, delimitation and demarcation must be based on the Alma-Ata Declaration. And next, all transport routes in the region should be unblocked. If we can document these principles, then peace is possible in the very near future. We are ready on our side and are doing everything possible; however, we do not see the same from Azerbaijan.”
