Who Wants to Open the Largest Supermarket Chain in Armenia
The newspaper "Fact" reports that businessman Narek Nalbandyan, in addition to his other businesses, has decided to open a supermarket chain. Just days after our report, the first supermarket in the chain, named "Eighty Eight" (88), was opened. We also noted that Nalbandyan aims for his supermarket chain to be the largest in Armenia.
According to information from the "Fact" newspaper, Nalbandyan will not limit himself to just his own supermarket chain. Sources indicate that the businessman has already purchased the "Oasis" supermarket chain and is currently in negotiations to acquire the "Carrefour" and "Zovk" supermarket chains as well.
Reports suggest that a total of over 200 supermarkets are planned to be opened across the country.
