Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that it is difficult to win the propaganda war against the United States. He made the corresponding remarks during an interview with Tucker Carlson, which was published on the American journalist's website.
According to the head of state, achieving this is challenging because the United States controls 'the entire world' and 'many European' media outlets. He noted that American media serves as the ultimate stakeholder of the largest European outlets.
Putin also mentioned that it is possible to get caught up in this war, but doing so may reveal your information sources without achieving any results.
Prior to this, Putin explained how to combat Ukrainian propaganda. Carlson arrived in Moscow on February 3. His arrival in Russia was widely covered by Russian media. The journalist's visit to Moscow, where the interview with Putin was recorded, caught the attention of the Western press.
On February 7, it became known that the European Union may discuss sanctions against Carlson for his interview with Putin.
Since the beginning of military operations, Carlson has actively criticized the US for aiding Ukraine and has taken a pro-Russian position, explaining the conflict by stating that 'the Russians do not want to see American missiles at their borders.'
