Construction of Bayraktar Factory Has Started Near Kyiv
The Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar has begun the construction of a factory near Kyiv where Bayraktar TB2 or TB3 unmanned aerial vehicles will be produced. This was reported by Reuters, citing the company’s CEO, Selçuk Bayraktar.
“Our factory is being built... We need 12 months to complete the construction, after which we will move on to internal equipment and organizational structure,” Bayraktar stated in an interview with Reuters during the World Defence Show military exhibition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The factory is expected to employ up to 500 people and will be capable of producing up to 120 UAVs annually.
