How Much Property Does the Former Deputy Minister of Economy Own?
The former Deputy Minister of Economy, Ani Spiryans, submitted her annual declaration of property and income to the Anti-Corruption Committee in May 2023. The former deputy minister declared the following real estate: a privately owned apartment in Russia and a jointly owned apartment in the Nor Nork district of Yerevan, both of which remained by the end of the year.
As for her annual income, she declared a salary of 14 million 901 thousand drams from the Ministry of Economy and a salary of 34 thousand drams from the Armenian-Russian University. Ani Spiryans has a bank deposit amounting to 3 million drams and 102 thousand rubles.
By the end of 2022, her bank accounts held 2 million drams and 6,500 rubles, with cash totaling 10,000 drams. It is important to note that Ani Spiryans was dismissed from her position and subsequently arrested. Law enforcement agencies conducted searches at the Ministry of Economy and at several other individuals' addresses earlier today.
