Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has announced his decision to resign. This information was reported by Sputnik Georgia.
He made the announcement during a live broadcast. Earlier, local media had reported that Garibashvili would be replaced by Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" party.
It is noteworthy that Garibashvili has served as Prime Minister twice, from 2021 to 2024 and from 2013 to 2015.
