Wrestler Narek Ohanyan Becomes Double Champion of Russia
Wrestler Narek Ohanyan has become the double champion of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling. In the preliminary round, Narek Ohanyan, representing the Voronezh region, defeated Kirill Maltsev from the Nizhny Novgorod region with a score of 8:0 in just two minutes. He then overcame Artem Tarzyan in one minute.
In the quarter-finals, Narek faced Garik Gyulumyan from the Rostov region and won with a score of 3:0. The final spots were contested against Imran Aliyev from Krasnodar, where Ohanyan emerged victorious with a score of 2:0.
In the final match, the wrestler competed against another Armenian athlete, the current Russian cup holder Alen Mizoyan. At the end of the first half, the Voronezh native was leading 2:0. Two minutes before the end of the match, Alen reduced the deficit, but the final score ended at 2:1.
