Foreign Ministers of Iran and Pakistan Hold Telephone Conversation
The foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Jalil Abbas Jilani, have had a telephone conversation, according to a report from RIA Novosti. The relevant statement was published on the official website of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister spoke about the friendly relations with Pakistan and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and dialogue. Amir-Abdollahian asserted that Tehran respects Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Previously, Amir-Abdollahian clarified that the targets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) missile attacks on Pakistan were solely the terrorists of the 'Jaish al-Zolm' group. He stated that members of this group have had connections with Israel.
