Two Theaters Merged According to Government Decision

According to the government's decision, the act of merging the Sundukyan Theater and the "Goy" Theater has been signed in the established manner.

It is noteworthy that the acting director of the "Goy" Theater, Sargis Choloyan, was dismissed without prior notice, and a temporary new acting director, Karen Simonyan, was appointed. Minister Zhanna Andreasian announced during an end-of-year press conference that the acting director was changed because he did not fulfill the government's requirements.

The "Goy" Theater had approached the administrative court, demanding the annulment of the government's decision, which stated that the theater should be dissolved and merged with the Sundukyan Academic Theater. There has been no court ruling on this matter yet.
