Photo: Turkish Football Club Suspends Israeli Player from Matches
The Israeli player Sagiv Ezekiel has been suspended from matches by the Turkish club Antalyaspor. This decision was made by the management of the club, as reported by the portal haberler.com. The information was shared by vesti.ru.
After scoring a goal in the match against Trabzonspor, the Israeli player displayed an armband with the inscription "100 days. 7.10" alongside a picture of the Star of David. In doing so, the player expressed support for Tel Aviv during military operations in the Gaza Strip.
The club has removed Ezekiel from matches, stating that the forward "acted against our nation's values." The Turkish Super Lig match between Antalyaspor and Trabzonspor ended in a draw, with a score of 1:1.
