White House Issues Statement
The Washington administration believes it is time for Israel to reduce the intensity of military operations in the Gaza Strip, and the U.S. is discussing this with the authorities of the Jewish state.
John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, stated this during a CBS broadcast. TASS reports.
“U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has just returned from the region, and we are actively discussing a transition to a lower intensity of operations. We believe that now is a suitable time for such a transition and that the moment has come,” Kirby said.
