The US and the UK Launch Military Operations in Yemen

The US and the UK have commenced operations against the Houthi movement's (Ansar Allah) positions in northern Yemen, Al Arabiya reports, citing sources.

"The US-UK military operation against Houthi targets has begun," the television channel's sources stated.

The reports indicate that the attack was specifically carried out near the port of Hodeidah. Additionally, they reported that five airstrikes targeted Houthi positions to the east of the city.

Social media is sharing footage of fires and destruction that have erupted in several provinces of Yemen. Witnesses told RIA Novosti that the explosions were very powerful.
