Blinken Outlines Possible Solution for Gaza Strip Issue
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken outlined a potential solution for the crisis in the Middle East during talks held in Israel on Tuesday. The initiative calls for an end to military operations in the Gaza Strip, the restoration of Palestinian control over the enclave, as well as the resumption of negotiations aimed at normalizing relations between Arab countries and Israel, reports kommersant.ru.
Among other things, Blinken assured that Saudi Arabia is prepared to return to negotiations regarding the recognition of the Jewish state. However, this requires Israel to cease its military campaign and lay the groundwork for a future Palestinian state.
