VIDEO: Voluntary Surrender of Illegally Held Weapons and Ammunition at Police Territorial Divisions
The officers of the territorial divisions of the police continue their daily active explanatory work aimed at the voluntary surrender of illegally held weapons and ammunition by the public.
The explanatory work conducted by the officers of the subdivisions under the Syunik regional police administration has been particularly effective. Thanks to the measures implemented by the officers of the Goris division, two cases of the voluntary surrender of a Kalashnikov automatic rifle, a rifle, and military ammunition have been registered.
The explanatory work carried out by the officers of the Kapan and Meghri divisions also yielded results in terms of firearm surrender, with two separate cases registered.
Thanks to the efforts of the officers from the Martuni division, two individuals voluntarily surrendered military ammunition.
The officers from the Martuni detachment of the Police Protection Service also conducted explanatory work, which led to the voluntary surrender of a hunting rifle and ammunition at the Martuni police station.
We again urge the public to voluntarily surrender illegal weapons and ammunition to avoid criminal liability.
