Iran Supports Armenia's Territorial Integrity and Sovereignty: Abdollahian

In the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a joint press conference has commenced with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran, Ararat Mirzoyan and Hossein Abdollahian. Abdollahian discussed Armenia-Iran relations, regional issues, and prospects for cooperation. He specifically stated, "We have talked about the prospects of cooperation between Tehran and Yerevan and stable peace in the South Caucasus. We have also discussed Iran's role as a guarantor of peace in the South Caucasus. Iran supports Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty." Abdollahian further added that "Iran wishes for peace and stability in the region to be ensured without the intervention of external forces." It is worth noting that a consulate of Armenia is planned to be established in the city of Tabriz, Iran.
