Armenia and Azerbaijan Ready to Finalize Peace Agreement: Peskov
The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev, confirm their readiness to finalize the peace agreement, stated Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.
“What conflicting parties? They declare their complete willingness to complete the peace negotiations, to reach a single document, a peace agreement, there is nothing risky about it,” he said in an interview with Channel One, responding to a question about the risks of inviting the countries' leaders to St. Petersburg.
The Russian leader has invited his counterparts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to the informal summit of the CIS in St. Petersburg.
