«I Too Have Received a Bonus» - Alen Simonyan

The bonuses for members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia will now be distributed on September 21st and at the end of the year, based on the funds saved. This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a press briefing.

“As long as I am the Chairman of the National Assembly, every year on September 21st and at the end of the year, parliament members will receive bonuses. The system that citizens have discussed, where bonuses were given once a month or every two months, will no longer exist. As a parliament member, yes, I too have received a bonus,” asserted Simonyan.

According to him, in addition to providing bonuses to parliament members, the National Assembly has also returned a significant amount of money to the reserve fund of the Republic of Armenia's government.
