Train Services Disrupted in Georgia, Some Stations Left Without Power

Due to adverse weather conditions in the western part of Georgia, passenger train services have been suspended in several directions. This information has been reported by Sputnik Georgia, citing the Georgian Railway company.

It was noted that the electrical supply to the contact network of the railway has been disrupted, affecting the stations between Khashuri and Zestaponi in the area of the Rikoti Pass.

Yesterday, strong storms recorded in Batumi and the western regions of Georgia caused trees to fall, roofs to be torn off, and damage to power transmission lines.
