Suspect in Prague's Charles University Shooting Linked to Murder of Young Man and His Two-Month-Old Daughter
David K., who opened fire at one of Prague's universities yesterday, is suspected of murdering another young man and his two-month-old daughter. The crime took place on December 21 in a park on the outskirts of Prague, with police still unable to establish any motive for the killings.
The man who carried out the shooting at the Philosophy Faculty of Charles University committed suicide during a police operation aimed at taking him into custody. This was announced by Prague Police Chief Petr Matějček.
Earlier reports indicated that the number of victims from the shooting had reached 15, with 24 individuals injured. The 24-year-old shooter was one of the university's students.
