Calm Down and Take Your Seats: You Brought Artsakh to Ruin, Julhakyan Tells Representatives
Member of the National Assembly’s Civil Contract faction, Arusyak Julhakyan, wrote on Facebook: 'Weeks before the depopulation of Artsakh, the advisor to President Shahramanyan, who was elected as president, stated in an interview with Azatutyun that the institutions of Artsakh would continue to operate in the coming years, as Shahramanyan’s decree related to the continuation of his tenure as mayor of Stepanakert effectively annulled the decree on the dissolution of Artsakh and its institutions. Let’s set aside the entire legal absurdity of this claim.
First, according to some clever dots, the Artsakh institutions continue to operate, and then perhaps they will take on the 315 billion AMD debt that Artsakh has towards Armenian banks, which the Armenian government has been forced to assume today. Secondly, there is one authority in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the legitimate authorities elected through free, fair, and transparent elections in Armenia. Only Armenian institutions operate in the territory of Armenia. Finally, with your incompetence (at best), you brought Artsakh to ruin. Do not hope that you can do the same with the Republic of Armenia. Armenia has a master who will not allow you to play the same game with our state/home. Calm down and take your seats.'
