Fake Promises Circulate: State Revenue Committee on Customs Clearance Deadline Extension
Following the government decision number 2076-N dated November 30, 2023, regarding the "Establishment of a State Support Program for the Free Circulation of Light Passenger Vehicles Classified under Commodity Code 8703 Temporarily Imported by Individuals from Non-Eurasian Economic Union Countries to the Republic of Armenia for Personal Use," a total of 1700 light passenger vehicles that were temporarily imported have already cleared customs.
The State Revenue Committee urges once again to clear customs for light passenger vehicles temporarily imported by individuals until December 4 of this year within the stipulated timeframe, including until December 30, as there will be no extension of deadlines or more favorable conditions for the support program.
“At the same time, we request to follow only official announcements, as calls to organize protests and fake promises of more favorable conditions for the support program are being spread by unknown individuals across various online platforms and groups,” the statement reads.
