Armenian Foreign Ministry Responds to Azerbaijani Accusations
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commented on the accusations from Azerbaijan's foreign department regarding the supply of armored vehicles from France.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the decision to send French armored vehicles to Armenia, accusing Paris of "militarizing the region." The day before, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan referred to the sending of armored vehicles to Armenia as a "provocation."
In response, the Armenian Foreign Ministry stated, "Each country can cooperate with others in various fields aimed at the development of security and defense capabilities within the limits of its sovereignty and jurisdiction."
It is noteworthy that while Azerbaijan makes accusations against Armenia, media reports indicate that in November 2023 alone, Azerbaijan signed a $1.2 billion agreement to purchase a large batch of 'Barak MX' UAVs from Israel.
