The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, has responded to Levon Kocharyan's statement made the day before, noting, “When people paid by their family say such things, I consider it an order being executed. However, when he personally comes and tries to present an unfortunate incident as an act, that is at least unbecoming for a person who has political ambitions.”

“Our hands are not stained with blood, let them not mix us up with them,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly during a press briefing.
