How Many Years the Prosecutor Has Requested for Voskanyan

The prosecutor has demanded 18 years of imprisonment for Gagik Voskanyan, who was captured in Baku. According to the indictment, "on August 16 of this year, the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan was violated by a reconnaissance-diversion group of the armed forces of Armenia for the purpose of conducting diversionary-terrorist activities," Azerbaijani media report.

It is noted that Voskanyan is accused of "violating the state border of Azerbaijan and attempting to carry out terrorist and diversionary activities" on August 16. In August of this year, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office announced the initiation of a criminal case against Armenian reserve officer Gagik Voskanyan and his subsequent arrest.
