Russian Foreign Ministry: Armenia's Absence at CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Will Not Affect Decision on Air Defense
The absence of the Armenian delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will not affect the adoption of a decision on the creation of a unified air defense system, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin to reporters.
He emphasized that the physical absence of representatives does not impede the coordination processes of other member countries regarding these collective documents, to which they often join.
It was previously announced that Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan would not participate in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly meeting scheduled for December 19 in Moscow.
