One MP from the ruling party votes in favor, another abstains, and a third does not participate in the vote
According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, yesterday in Parliament, the ruling party's faction voted against discussing the "Hayakve" project. A total of 56 votes were against the project, 24 in favor, and one person abstained.
The media outlet has learned that the MP who abstained was Gagik Melkonyan from the ruling party. However, this was not the only surprise of the day.
There was indeed an MP from the ruling party who voted in favor. This refers to Gurgen Arsenyan. He supported the "Hayakve" initiative. Another ruling party member, Hripsime Hunanyan, did not participate in the vote, although she was sitting in the hall with a mask on.
