Child's Heart Burst with Fear: Deputy Director of Surenavan School Discusses the Death of 7-Year-Old Boy from Dog Attack
In the village of Surenavan, Ararat province, the child who died as a result of a dog attack is 7-year-old Alik. The deputy director of the school, Valya Avetisyan, stated in an interview with Pashtinfo that the incident occurred in the morning on the way to school.
"We found out about the incident around 8:40. Near the club on the road to school, dogs were gathered; there are stray dogs that roam where they shouldn't be. Early in the morning, the boy was on his way to school with two friends when the dogs attacked. The children ran away. Alik fell while running; at first, we thought he had hit his head on a rock, but it turned out his heart burst from fear," she said.
Avetisyan also noted that the child's mother works at the same school. The media was informed by the Ararat Medical Center that the child was taken to them deceased. "The exact cause of the child's death can only be determined tomorrow when the forensic examination results are ready," they said.
Recall that earlier reports indicated that a 7-year-old boy had died in Surenavan due to an attack by stray dogs.
