We Will Continue Our Communications with All Relevant Parties – Peskov
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has commented on the resumption of military operations in the Gaza Strip. This information is reported by RIA Novosti.
"Of course, we would prefer to see news regarding the further extension of the humanitarian ceasefire, as we believe it would be more appropriate considering the scale of the humanitarian disaster currently in Gaza and the unfinished process of the release of hostages. However, despite the resumption of military operations, we will continue our efforts and communications with all relevant parties to secure the release of any remaining Russian citizens there," Peskov stated during a conversation with journalists.
It is noteworthy that this morning the press service of the Israeli Army announced that Hamas had violated the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and opened fire on Israeli territory. The military has resumed operations there. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 32 Palestinians have been killed in the first three hours following the ceasefire due to Israeli strikes, with dozens more injured.
