I Regret They Achieved Their Desired Outcome: Zelensky
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is concerned that the country is slipping out of the global community's "focus of attention." He expressed this during an interview with the Japanese news agency Kyodo. The information is provided by gazeta.ru.
According to the Ukrainian President, Russia benefits from redirecting international attention away from the conflict between the Palestinian group Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip. "Everyone understands that they have forgotten about Ukraine and shifted their focus to the situation in the Middle East. I believe this is precisely what the Russian Federation was trying to achieve, and I regret that they reached their desired outcome," Zelensky shared.
He emphasized that Ukraine will not agree to a ceasefire unless Russia withdraws its troops.
