Israel Allows 70,000 Liters of Fuel to Enter Gaza Daily
Israel has agreed to allow the entry of 70,000 liters of fuel into the Gaza Strip daily through Egypt. This information is mentioned in a report by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
“On November 19, 69,000 liters of fuel entered Gaza from Egypt. Israeli authorities have confirmed that they will begin permitting the import of approximately 70,000 liters of fuel from Egypt daily, which is significantly below the minimum requirements needed for the implementation of essential humanitarian operations,” the document states.
The agency responsible for assisting Palestinian refugees plans to distribute the fuel to hospitals, water supply and sanitation facilities, shelters, and other services to maintain food distribution and generator operations.
