The Palestinian Ministry of Health has blamed the Israeli army for the airstrike. Meanwhile, according to AP, Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that Israel is investigating reports of the strike on the hospital. Hagari added that he does not know whether the explosion at the hospital was caused by the Israeli army's strike or not.
