On October 9, 2023, the RA Ministry of Defense received a report that in the combat position located in the southeastern direction of the Ministry of Defense military unit, a conscript discharged a round from a submachine gun, resulting in a fatal head injury and the death of fellow serviceman Private Narek Nazaryan, who was also a conscript in the same military unit.
