Temporary Observation Posts Along Former Contact Line in Askeran, Martakert, and Shushi Districts Dismantled, Says Russian Defense Ministry
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released information regarding the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
It is noted that the Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. "Continuous interaction with Baku and Stepanakert is maintained, aimed at preventing bloodshed, ensuring security, and upholding humanitarian law concerning civilians. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The dismantling of temporary observation posts along the former contact line in the Askeran, Martakert, and Shushi districts has been completed," states the daily report from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"In accordance with the agreements reached on the cessation of hostilities, the counting of weapons, military equipment, artillery ammunition, and military supplies in the depots of the armed formations in Nagorno-Karabakh has continued under the supervision of Russian peacekeepers. As of October 5, a total of 84 armored vehicles, 121 units of automotive equipment, 121 units of air defense systems, 105 units of field artillery, CAT and mortars, one UAV, and more than 7,000 units of artillery and anti-tank weapons, as well as approximately 58.5 million ammunition have been delivered. The protection of the storage areas for weapons, military equipment, and ammunition is organized by the combined Russian-Azerbaijani posts," reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
