"It’s Too Early to Cross Out Cooperation with Armenia, as Pashinyan is Not All of Armenia" - Slutsky
The head of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee and president of the Liberal Democratic Party, Leonid Slutsky, has stated that the question of removing Armenia from the EAEU is not currently on the table against the backdrop of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s rhetoric.
“Not yet. Pashinyan has done the main thing—he recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan,” Slutsky told reporters in response to a question about the potential removal of Armenia from the EAEU.
He also emphasized that it is too early to cross out cooperation with Armenia, as Pashinyan does not represent all of Armenia.
