Iran Considers Nagorno-Karabakh as Part of Azerbaijan, Says Iranian Foreign Minister
The Islamic Republic of Iran considers Nagorno-Karabakh as part of the Republic of Azerbaijan; however, disagreements should be resolved through dialogue. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a post on the social media platform X.
The remarks came after his meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in New York.
It is worth noting that authorities in the Republic of Artsakh have accepted the proposal from the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent regarding the ceasefire.
