Iran Cancels Flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan
All flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan have been canceled in order to protect Iranian travelers. This was announced by the head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh, according to irna.ir.
“Due to special conditions in the region and in accordance with the aviation organization's NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), all flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan will be canceled from today (September 20) until further notice,” stated the official.
It is worth noting that the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh have accepted the proposal of the command of the Russian peacekeeping mission regarding a ceasefire.
