Photos. Footage Emerges Online of Attack on Russian Submarine 'Donetsk' in Sevastopol
Footage of the Russian submarine 'Donetsk', which was struck on September 13 by a missile attack from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sevastopol, has surfaced online. This information was reported by the Nexta live Telegram channel.
Recall that on the night of September 13, the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted the port of Sevastopol with missile strikes. The large landing ship 'Minsk' and the 'Donetsk' submarine of the Black Sea Fleet were under repair there. Both vessels sustained significant damage, and leaked satellite images indicate that they are likely beyond repair. If Russia has already lost landing ships during this war, the loss of the submarine would mark the first naval loss since World War II.
