Azerbaijan Violates Ceasefire in Martakert Region Using Firearms; One Injured

On September 17 at approximately 18:20, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the Martakert region, employing firearms and a 23-2 artillery system. As a result of this ceasefire violation, there is one reported injury on the Armenian side. Fortunately, the individual's life is not in danger. This information was reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.

The incident has been communicated to the Russian peacekeeping forces' command. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense has released a statement alleging that Armenian Defense Army units fired towards Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Martakert region around 17:45 on September 17. This claim has been labeled as misinformation and an attempt to justify the violation of the ceasefire by their own units.
