‘If Putin decides to run in the 2024 elections, no one will be able to compete with him’ - Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet announced his intention to participate in the 2024 elections. However, if he makes such a decision, no one will be able to genuinely compete with him, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, in an interview with RCB.

“If we talk about those who will compete with our president in the upcoming elections, we should first say this: the president has not yet announced that he will run. But if we assume that the president will announce his candidacy, it is probably obvious that no one in our country can create real competition at this stage,” Peskov responded to the question.
