VIDEO: There Is Nothing Good, Including for Armenia, in NATO's Attempts to Penetrate the South Caucasus - Lavrov
The Russian Federation sees no positive aspects in the attempts of NATO countries to penetrate the South Caucasus. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a press conference following the G20 summit, commenting on the joint military exercises of Armenia and the United States.
“Of course, we do not see anything good in the aggressive country of NATO attempting to penetrate the South Caucasus. I do not think this is good for anyone, including Armenia,” Lavrov said.
It is worth mentioning that Sergei Lavrov noted that the joint military exercises of Armenia and the U.S. seem strange considering that Yerevan is refusing to conduct exercises within the framework of the CSTO.
