Gas Station Operations Suspended on M. Heratsi Street

Under the instruction of the head of the State Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection Authority, fire safety specialists conducted a fire-technical investigation of the gas station operated by SI PS ENERGY GROUP LLC at M. Heratsi 2/5 in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan. This was reported by the Inspection Authority of the Republic of Armenia.

The investigation revealed and documented violations of fire and technical safety normative documents that pose a direct threat to the life, health, and safety of individuals.

Considering the risks and severity of the violations of fire and technical safety requirements, the head of the Inspection Authority of the Republic of Armenia made the decision to suspend the operations of the said gas station.

As a result of a joint operation conducted on September 8 by the Inspection Authority, the Yerevan Municipality, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the operations of the mentioned gas station were effectively halted, and it was dismantled.

The company operating the gas station has been instructed to completely empty and neutralize the fuel present in the storage tanks.
