Wildberries Pays an Additional Tax of Approximately 3.6 Billion Drams to the State Budget
During the first six months of 2023, Wildberries had unaccounted VAT and unpaid taxes for transactions imported from EAEU member countries into Armenia. This information was reported by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.
“In August, the company declared an additional tax liability of around 3.6 million drams to the state budget for the import transactions from the previous January to June period, of which 175 million drams were for penalties and fines,” stated the State Revenue Committee.
Discrepancies from May to July were presented to the company by the State Revenue Committee, and as a result of approximately 20 days of discussions and explanatory work, Wildberries accepted the fact of underreporting.
