Turkey's Foreign Minister Visits Ukraine
The President of Ukraine has welcomed Turkey's Foreign Minister in Kyiv. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Hakan Fidan for providing humanitarian assistance, supporting Ukrainian military personnel, and backing Ukraine's territorial integrity.
“It was also important that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recently stated that Crimea is Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.
The officials discussed the grain deal and the risks of blockades in the Black Sea. According to the Ukrainian side, Hakan Fidan assured that Ankara supports Ukraine's territorial integrity and stands by Ukraine.
“This is our primary policy,” Fidan stated, adding that Ankara supports the peace initiative regarding Ukraine.
Turkey's Foreign Minister is also expected to visit Russia soon.
