Court Ruling Against Azerbaijani Association Leader for Promoting Hatred Against Armenians
The Hague District Court has issued a ruling against Ilham Ashkin, the leader of the Azerbaijani-Turkish association in the Netherlands, for promoting hatred against Armenians and publicly insulting them. This information was shared on Twitter by Tigran Balayan, Armenia's ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
He noted that the court's decision came after lawsuits were filed by the Armenian embassy in the Netherlands and the Federation of Armenian Organizations in the Netherlands.
The specific penalties for Ilham Ashkin have not yet been made public.
