Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out its tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and overseeing the ceasefire regime at 30 observation posts. This was stated in the information report of the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the activities of the peacekeeping contingent in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone on July 27.
During the past day, no ceasefire violations have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers. Patrols have been carried out along three routes: in the Martakert and Martuni regions, as well as in the Lachin corridor.
To ensure the security of the Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents, continuous communication is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
