Czech Ambassador Calls for Full Restoration of ICRC's Activities
In Armenia, the Czech Ambassador Petr Pirunčík quoted a statement from EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on his Twitter microblog: “We have acknowledged the readiness of the Azerbaijani authorities to supply goods through the city of Aghdam. This should not be viewed as an alternative to the reopening of the Lachin corridor.”
The ambassador also stated: “The EU emphasizes that the activities of the ICRC in the region have been severely impacted and calls for their full restoration, including evacuations for health reasons and humanitarian supplies.”
