Cooling Works Underway at Nubarashen Landfill: 464 Tons of Water Used
As of July 27 at 20:00, a firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department is on duty at the Nubarashen landfill, where cooling works are also being carried out on-site. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Ministry.
By 20:00, a total of 12 firefighting units were engaged in fire extinguishing operations at the scene, along with 8 water tankers from the Yerevan municipality, and 464 tons of water were used (of which 124 tons were provided by the rescuers), along with 13 truckloads of soil.
It is worth reminding that on July 25 at 22:37, the National Crisis Management Center received a call indicating that a fire had broken out at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan.
