VIDEO: 'Gyormamish' Term Was Not Directed at CP, But at Those Who Took My Business, Karapetyan

The leader of the 'Strong Armenia' party, Samvel Karapetyan, has commented on the discussions surrounding the term 'gyormamish' that emerged in the National Assembly, stating that it was not directed at the 'Civil Contract' faction.

Recall that a heated argument erupted in the NA yesterday after Taron Chakhoyan referred to Narek Karapetyan as 'gyormamish', to which the latter retorted by calling Chakhoyan a 'calf'. Following this incident, NA President Ruben Rubinyan issued a warning to Narek Karapetyan, noting that in case of similar behavior in the future, the CP may not 'exercise the same restraint.'

In a conversation with journalists today, Samvel Karapetyan stated that his use of the term 'gyormamish' was not concerning the ruling party. 'My word 'gyormamish' was not related to the CP, but to those who take business from me. If certain people have taken this personally, that's their problem,' said Karapetyan.
