Car Crashes into Barriers on Yerevan-Yeraskh Road, 5-Year-Old Child Dies
On the Yerevan-Yeraskh road in the Ararat region, a Ford Focus car veered off the roadway and collided with metal barriers. As a result of the accident, a 5-year-old child has died, reports shamshyan.com.
“After colliding with the metal barriers, the car embedded itself into the barriers and moved forward about 5 meters,” the website specifies.
The vehicle contained the driver, the mother, and her 5-year-old son. While the investigative team was examining the scene, the Ararat Police Department was notified by the hospital that the child had died without regaining consciousness. The driver was transported to one of the hospitals in Yerevan by ambulance,” the site reports.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Ararat Regional Investigative Administration regarding the accident, during which the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured are being established.
