Azerbaijan Demands Apology from Armenia
“Instead of accusing Azerbaijan of a so-called ‘genocide’, the Armenian side should apologize for the forced displacement of Azerbaijanis from Armenian territory, the mass deaths of people during their expulsion from their homeland, and the crimes against humanity,” stated the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Baku also pointed out that the Armenian side should apologize for the “genocide perpetrated as a result of aggression and occupation of Azerbaijani territories, as well as the policy of ethnic cleansing.”
